Google Shopping Feed Pre-Flight Checker
Paste or upload a product feed and get a pre-flight report of errors and warnings — missing required fields, malformed links, invalid prices and availability values — before you submit to Google Merchant Center. Everything runs locally in your browser, so your catalog data never leaves your device.
Pasting here replaces any loaded file.
Your file is processed locally in your browser — it is never uploaded to a server.
Ready when you are
Paste your product feed or upload a CSV/TSV file above to start the check. The first row must be the header. Everything runs locally in your browser.
How It Works
- 1
Paste your feed rows or upload a CSV/TSV export. The first row must be the header.
- 2
The tool matches your columns to Google Shopping attributes automatically — adjust any mapping you disagree with using the dropdowns.
- 3
Every product row is checked for missing required values, duplicate ids, malformed URLs, invalid prices, bad availability values, over-long titles and missing identifiers.
- 4
Review the results: errors are likely disapprovals, warnings are quality risks. Download the issue report as CSV and fix the rows in your source feed.
Example
- Paste a feed with the columns id, title, link, image_link, price, availability.
- Row 4 has price "$15.99" — flagged as an invalid price format, with "15.99 USD" suggested as the fix.
- Row 7 reuses item id "1002" from row 3 — flagged as a duplicate item id.
- You download feed-issues-report.csv, correct the rows in your export, and re-check before submitting to Merchant Center.
Accuracy & Limitations
- This tool is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Google. It is a pre-flight aid, not an official validator.
- The validation rules are configurable approximations based on publicly documented Google Shopping feed requirements, last reviewed October 2025 — Google can change its policies at any time.
- Each check processes the first 5,000 product rows. Split larger feeds and run them separately.
- There is no corrected-feed download in v1 — fix the issues in your source feed or export, then re-check.
- Some Google policies are category-specific (pricing, identifiers, restricted products). A clean result here does not guarantee Merchant Center approval.
