Validation results

Enter a product title to validate it against the selected rule.

This tool is a title-checking aid based on configurable rule profiles. It does not approve, reject, or guarantee compliance with Amazon policies.

How It Works

  1. 1

Pick a rule profile — Amazon US general, US apparel, shoes & luggage, Amazon EU, or a custom character limit between 20 and 500.

  2. 2

Paste or type your product title. Every check re-runs live as you type; there is no submit button.

  3. 3

Review the character and word counts, then read each error or warning: hard length limits, mobile truncation, repeated keywords, ALL-CAPS words, promotional phrases, emojis or trademark symbols, and spacing problems.

  4. 4

If the title is over its limit — or long with repeated or promotional wording — the smart shortener proposes a cleaned-up title and lists exactly what it changed.

  5. 5

Copy the suggestion, or press "Use suggestion & revalidate" to load it back into the editor and iterate until the title fits.

Example

  1. Select the "Amazon US — apparel, shoes & luggage" profile (150-character limit).
  2. Paste: BEST SELLER Stainless Steel Water Bottle Bottle 32 oz Free Shipping Leak Proof for Sports Gym Travel Camping Hiking (115 characters).
  3. The validator warns that the title passes the 150-character rule but exceeds the ~80 characters shown before mobile truncation, and flags the repeated "Bottle", the promotional "best seller" and "free shipping" wording, and the ALL-CAPS words "BEST" and "SELLER".
  4. The shortener removes the promotional phrases and the duplicate word, then suggests "Stainless Steel Water Bottle 32 oz Leak Proof for Sports Gym Travel Camping Hiking" (82 characters) — copy it or load it back in to revalidate.

Accuracy & Limitations

  • Rule profiles are configurable defaults based on commonly published Amazon style guidance — they are not official Amazon rules, and they can be edited in the component if your category enforces different limits.
  • Amazon title requirements vary by category and marketplace and change over time; these defaults were last reviewed in October 2025.
  • Always confirm the current requirements in Seller Central help pages or your category style guide before submitting listings.
  • The tool is a title-checking aid: it does not approve, reject, or guarantee compliance with Amazon policies, and its emoji and symbol detection is a best-effort heuristic rather than a complete catalog.
